Register a Gist

Already have your OMP profile in a public GitHub Gist? Paste it here and OOMPF fetches the canonical YAML, validates it structurally, and indexes its facts. In v0 only public Gists are accepted.

Starting from a profile on your machine instead? oompf publish <profile-name>creates the Gist and registers it in one step — see Publishing a profile.

Accepts gist.github.com URLs (optionally pinned to a revision) or a bare Gist ID. The Gist must contain exactly one <name>.ymlprofile file. A Gist reference is a source, not an OOMPF reference: registering returns the /p/<id>URL that oompf add installs from.
